Frequently asked questions
Everything about tickets, refunds and launching your world.
What is a Storycraft ticket?
A real ticket to a film, series, comic or game that hasn't been made yet. You pay real money, receive a QR ticket, and redeem it for the finished work — a screening, an episode drop, a first-edition comic or a game key.
How does Buy, Hold & Release work?
Buy: you purchase a ticket during a 30-day campaign. Hold: your ticket and payment are held against the campaign's ticket goal. Release: if the goal is met, the campaign is greenlit and funds move toward production. If it isn't met, you're refunded in full automatically.
When am I charged?
At purchase. Card holds expire long before a 30-day campaign ends, so we charge up front and refund automatically if the campaign misses its goal.
How long do refunds take?
Refunds are issued automatically when a campaign closes without hitting its goal. Most banks show them within 5–10 business days.
Is this an investment, a token or a bet?
No. A Storycraft ticket is a purchase of a future product. There is no equity, no crypto token, no prediction market and no resale speculation.
What does it cost creators?
A one-time $249 listing fee. Creators record or upload up to nine short videos (two minutes max each) that build their world, then launch a 30-day campaign.
Who owns the IP?
The creator. Storycraft never takes ownership of your story, characters or footage. We ask creators to confirm they hold the rights before publishing.
What do backers get?
Auditable proof of demand: verified ticket buyers, contact-consented fans and a transparent demand score — the signals producers, studios and financiers need to commit.
Can I embed a campaign on social media?
Yes. Every project has a clean embeddable carousel built for sharing.
